Samsung has just announced that it has created a solar powered touch screen cell phone. It is apparent that the power source for the phone lies in the back where it contains solar panels to power the phone.
The phone itself is built from recyclable material, meaning it is very eco-friendly in all ways. Some very cool features on the phone include:
- Pedometer, which tracks the number of trees you have saved by walking somewhere instead of taking your car.
- A touchscreen LCD monitor for the tech freaks like us at CFT. It features the TouchWiz interface which we do not have much information about.
- Eco Mode app which tracks your footsteps and calculates how much one has reduced their carbon footprint.
- Bluetooth connectivity.
If you are a techo (tech and eco combined into a word, I just made that up and now I am copyrighting it) then this phone might be for you!
