Social gaming company Playdom has hired David Sobeski , a former executive at Yahoo and Microsoft, as Chief Technology Officer of the company. Sobeski most recently served as a senior vice president at Yahoo, in charge of developing the company’s Open Strategy and Data platform as well as driving product and innovation strategy. Prior to joining to Yahoo, Sobeski was a general manager at Microsoft and worked on a variety of projects, from user experience of Windows Vista, to mobility on the Microsoft Exchange Server
