Many tech freaks prefer in-ear headphones, the kind that are placed directly into the ear canal, opposed to outer-ear headphones because they “plug” the ear canal, offering the highest quality listening experience.

The only issue with these types of in-ear headphones is that unless they’re both in, you don’t get the best experience. Still, many people usually keep both in while using them, so it’s not too big of a deal.

Since not all in-ear headphones are created equally, you’re going to have to try many different pairs on. When doing this, choose the ones that seal themselves in your ear. That seal is what will give you the best experience. If you go against this suggestion, you’ll end up with loose in-ear headphones that will constantly fall out.

As all in-ear headphones were not created equally in size, nor were your ear canals. Make sure you try both headphones on. Your right ear canal may require a smaller earphone, while the left one may need a medium size one.

Also when putting in the headphones, twist them in slightly. This will make them fit tighter and is how they should be worn. Once they’re in and they block external noise, you’ve found the best pair for you.

If the tips of the in-ear headphones tend to annoy you as well, just adjust or switch the tips.

Another trick used by in-ear headphone users is to pull the ear up with the opposite hand and place the earphone in. Upon releasing the ear, the headphone should fit.

So you’ve got your new pair of in-ear headphones. You’ve been using them for a few days and have fallen quite in love with them. But, you notice when you pull them out of your pocket, they’re tangled and in knots that seem to take forever to get undone.

“How do I fix this?,” you ask.

Simple: when putting the headphones away, fold the wires in a series of U’s. Place them away, and the next time you pull them out, you’ll be able to pull from the headphones themselves and delayer the wires. Tangled wire is no more.

In Sony’s attempt to compete with Apple’s iPod Touch, they’re going to be releasing their very own touch screen Sony Walkman, according to Sony’s Insider blog. The author of this post, who cites no information, says the new device features a 3-inch OLED screen, WiFi connectivity, a web browser, YouTube browser, and an integrated Amazon download store. If you’d like to see whether this myth is true or not, the gadget is supposed to be released at CES in January.

Experts speculate on this though, seeing as though most Sony products appear months before in Asia than they do in America. This is due to the tough marketing problems they run into in these more developed nations.

Another thing that tech freaks have a time understanding is why Sony would partner up with Amazon. We all know that Sony prefers to integrate their own systems first, but maybe they’re turning around and trying new things.

All in all, we don’t think it’s impossible for this device to pop up this 2009. In the event that it does hit the stores, we believe it’ll have a very hard time running with Apple’s iPod Touch.

“Nano” is a term used that means one billionth of. So we can imagine that the Nano Chromatic iPod has two select traits, it is both small and comes with a ton of colors, thus the chromatic part. The Nano Chromatic, Apple’s new entry level MP3 player, comes in 9 colors (that’s a heck of a lot). Also, it features either an 8 GB hard drive or a 16 GB one. Prices start at just around 150 dollars for the 8 GB version.

All of these features might be buying points for some but the best part is the screen. The Nano Chromatic features a widescreen display with a 320 by 240 screen resolution allowing 204 pixels per inch. The best part is that you can watch videos and all your photos in a very eye friendly manner. The widescreen age is in full gear now and it is obvious Apple is keeping up. Also, the screen is fairly large for a portable music player, at just around 2 inches. The click wheel has not changed and there really is no reason for Apple to change it. You can listen to your iPod songs for a mere 24 hours. That is equivalent to a roundtrip from Los Angeles to London. The only feature missing from this music player is WiFi, which you really don’t expect to have on a MP3 player like this.

Christmas is around the corner, so you might just want to pick one up before it sells out from your nearest Apple Store.
